More than 80 countries and over 8,000 students each year participate in the program, which is administered at the regional level by Rotary districts and at the local level by Rotary clubs.
RYLA participants gain knowledge about themselves and learn to work with others in order to become a better person and a future leader. Participants are selected through an essay and application process through their local Rotary Club.
Your District Learning & Development Committee, chaired by District Trainer, Gary Stewart, serves Club and District members and leaders with Virtual and In-person (VIP) training opportunities that range from: the annual Rotary Spring Training Event, support to Pre-Pacific NW President Elect Training Seminar (PNW_PETS) and other programs and resources such as the Rotary Essential Enrichment Learning (REEL) program; Visioning and Action Planning workshops, and coordinating Vibrant Club workshops.
